WHY DO WE DO THIS?
Our founder, Devin Hightower, grew up wrestling here in Colorado Springs. His mother supported his entire family of seven on a single income, so he often couldn’t afford to train and compete. The wrestling community came together to support Devin, often paying for his tournament costs, driving him around the country to compete, and taking great lengths to help him succeed in the sport he was passionate about. Their kindness resulted in Devin getting a scholarship to compete at the NCAA Division I level, ultimately setting him up for a successful career and family life. He does not take the generosity he was shown by so many for granted and started Architect Youth Grappling Foundation to pay it forward.
Through this Foundation, we hope to give as many children as possible the opportunity to learn the many valuable life lessons that sports such as Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu can teach our youth, regardless of their family’s income.

DEVIN HIGHTOWER
President
Devin grew up wrestling in Colorado Springs at Widefield High School. He still lives in Co.
Springs with his wife, Christina, and two children, Alexandria and Leonidas. In his free time, he
coaches Wrestling classes, competes in MMA and Jiu Jitsu, and plans epic experiences he can live
with friends and family.
CHI NGUYEN-GEORGE
Treasurer
Chi is a highly experienced CPA! She is currently an external auditor for the government, leading and assisting projects for a $1B publicly-traded government contractor. Her love for educating and helping others truly makes her a wonderful asset to our team. Chi is truly a joy to be around and hold this teams funds together to keep our efforts going!

Julian grew up wrestling with Devin at Widefield High School. He still lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Cara and two children. Julian currently trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in between frequent work trips for his engineering job.

Cory grew up in Colorado Springs, and is an alumni of the local high-school. Cory has experience running the technical operations of small businesses, political campaigns, and national security services with his 14+ years in the US Air Force.
